“ Food is homie and well made as I appreciate good food of all kinds and it was a hole in the wall restaurant open 24/7 and it had decent home cooked food to eat and the people are nice as well. Service , food were great and Julie the waitress thanks for listening to guy that was decompressing and hungry. Staff made a good meal and satisfied customer as service was decent and good clean and respectful folks. ”

Don't really leave reviews too often but I feel obligated as every time I've been here it's been after midnight yet they've delivered tasty, fulfilling food at a quality price point. As another reviewer mentioned, Johnnie's epitomizes the definition of a greasy spoon establishment in terms of menu and ambiance, for there's something so comforting about the neon lights, formica countertops, and great food to boot. I tend to regularly order the Denver Omelet or Hobo Skillet, although I'd more or less trust anything on the menu in the realm of classic diner food. Perhaps not the place for a steak, but if that's what you expect to be blown away on at a diner, you're searching in the wrong place. Oh yeah--super friendly staff, too. Always cordial, always attentive, and always witty, facetious, and fun. Really could not recommend this place enough, and take mental note that if you're eating here, getting such good portions for such good prices, put your money where your mouth is and leave a few extra dollars than you usually would.
